1966 Born in Akita, Japan
1989 Graduated from Kyoto Seika University, Faculty of Fine Arts, majoring in Western painting.

​

After graduating from university, I worked as a part-time lecturer at an art university and as a teacher and public relations manager at private junior and senior high schools, mainly in Kyoto.

In 2022, I began photographing works in my hometown of Akita, Japan.
My motivation is to create "works of art" that encourage new insights by capturing scenes that are familiar to the photographer.

I am currently searching for expressions that excite a variety of impressions with subdued colors.
